John, I would guess that the bolt I was looking at was a yard wide. I seem to remember when I bought the last roll it was a yard square, enough for two bellows (in case I screwed up the first one!)... Dan Rhoades

I would guess Micro-Suede and rubberized cordura nylon are fairly different
though they may work equally well for a bellows. I have a darkcloth made
from Ultra-Suede (a bit excessive, but it works really, really well, totally
light proof, lightweight and the texture keeps it from sliding around when
you are using it). Ultra suede really looks pretty close to suede leather
(similar texture and thickness). I would think rubberized cordura nylon
would be similar to stuff used for raincoats. Fairly smooth and slippery.
I've thought about Ultra-suede for a bellows but figured it was too thick.
When I got it, there was a thinner knock-off that wasn't lighttight. A
lighttight thinner version sounds like it would work better than Ultra-suede
for a darkcloth as well as a bellows. Do you know what width the fabric
comes in?

Sounds very similar to what I found at Denver Fabric, although I'm fairly
certain that this stuff I found was called rubberized cordura nylon.
