The 40mm "pancake" Konica Hexanon lense in TC mount is available used for less than
$50. Even rabid Nikonites will reluctantly confess that Hexanon lenses are the equal
of any Nikor. Konica had the best quality control in the business when they were
making SLR lenses and the lens mounting flange screws to the body. You can buy a
damaged body for $10 and take the very nice bayonet flange for your camera.
