My AlVista 5D was made to take a roll film 5" wide.  It's a swing-lens 
panorama, each exposure is 16" long.  A roll of film had 4 exposures on it.  
If I succeed in getting the 100" of Forte, it will be easy to make 5" spools. 
 I use the camera now by loading it for one shot, using enlarging paper or 
cutting down a 100' X 9 1/2" roll of Aero Plus-X.  I have also attached a 16" 
piece of 120 Fujichrome on to the film plane and got a great shot of an 
autumn scene at a nearby lake.

For a 100-year old camera its lens is excellent.
