Thanks Andy, I'll taje a look.   I have decided to build the box first from whatever materials I can find. Then I'll build the pinhole. I found this inavaluable as I ain't to good with the math! Have you tried making the actual pinhole yet? I made my first one out of aluminum and it worked ok but suffered from diffraction but at least I got an image. the pinhole size for my 60mm creation is 0.289 as i want it to "focus "closer .I bought some brass shim stock yesterday and shall build a few pinholes today. My interest stems from a view camera article about Martha Cassanave Martha Casanave Photography  visit  her coastal pinhole gallery (scroll down the page) they are very interesting. hope this helps and let us know how it works regards Andy
