i recommend you "drill" the hole and not punch the hole.
take a large needle and spin it into the foil like it was a
small twist drill. do this over some stiff cardboard. be
prepared to drill several pieces of foil as it takes several
tries to get as perfect a pinhole as you can.
if you place your pinhole foils in your enlarger and project
them onto a piece of white paper you will see which hole
has the least amount of deformation.
