Gene,
I checked septum widths on three different bag mags. There is a tiny bit
of variation, but I still come up with a figure just over 100mm width
(100.4mm was one measurement).
I don't know if Graflex ever changed the septum width in all the years
they made bag mags. My 1904 Graflex catalog shows a version for cut film
using a metal septum to hold the film. Maybe the septums for the early
versions were slightly wider.
There was also a bag mag made to take glass plates. Is the channel in your
septums wide enough for a plate?
