Hey everyone

I'd like to thank those how have already sent me some
infomation on this. But I'm still interested in more
plus alteratives if any. I have already done some
months of work on this.

The way I was already planning to do it was with a
laser trigger and high speed flash. From what I have
been advised was that if I get any flash & reduce the
power the duration decrease. So I'm going to use
several flash tubes out of disposable cameras and
change the capasitors on them, which I'm hoping to
reduce the duration to about 1/300000sec.

The way I got the duration time was that as someone
said before (but in matric) a average bullet travels
about 300 m/sec (some travel about 200m/sec and some
can even 1000m/sec) so at about 1/300000sec duration
the bullet would be blurred about 1mm which would be
great. Nearly all Flashes I've seen have a duration of
1/1000sec Which is good against recaprocity failure.

As someone advised me before with the nikon FM2,
Thank, But the problem with that is the as Nearly all
Cameras is that the maximum exposure on that camera is
1/4000sec But realy an exposure as I can recall about
1/200sec or even a 1/250sec over the whole frame.
Because of the way shutter travels, the way it
decreases the exposure it release the second shutter
before the 1st on opens up fully so just slit trevels
through. And If you do this and something is
travelling at the a fast speed can be distorted
(streached) in relation to the shutter type
(horizontal or Vertical). And thats also why most
genral flashes can't be used at the max sutter speed.

So if any know anything more about flash alteratation,
alternatives and receprocity failure effects of color
trany films of the speeds I mentioned Please let me
know.

Many Thanks.
