It actually states that it's up to the programmer to decide what should be allowed for the user to configure.


Type ahead find should be "enabled" as default but not "on" by default. It should follow the way I have it set up. Type / to turn it on then hit ESC to turn it off. That way it doesn't interfere with normal behavior. And can easily be used by people who want to use it. And it should be documented that / turns it on and ESC turns it off so when people bitch about it we can tell them that they should RTFM.

Also how is image scaling a "destructive" feature that should be off by default? Somehow to me it seems better to view the entire image to see if it is worth saving, and it's much easier to do that when scaled than if I have to scroll.
