It is possible to write a patch to modify the trunk, however Pink doesn't own the code and has no right to change it. He has to get approval to change it, and if the owners don't see the value it wont get approved.

Pretty sure because bookmarks are a client function and this is a core Gecko function.



And then why it's not possible in any way make some patch, which will just modify trunk? I don't know how exactly this is working, so i'm just little but surprised, that's not possible (at least in easy way)....
