This will put Netscape4 roaming profile support in to the Mozilla trunk, hoepfully starting with 1.7b. Would this be useful to Camino?

I read the thread in the link You posted, and I don't know if I misunderstood this... does the Netscape roaming feature provide facilities to insert/delete/update/move single bookmarks (which could then be bound to the according actions in the browser UI), or is it a filesystem independent method for accessing/updating an entire profile directory remotely?

actually, Panther now has a great feature in that you can mirror your

a usable symlink to the bookmarks file would be fine, anyway.
I'd love to implement some back-end bookmarks-synch functionality
using webdav for example, and/or maybe something like subversion
