As it stands, if you click on a link for a file with extension .dmg (MacOS X disk image), and the Web server doesn't set the file type properly, Camino downloads the file into the browser window. This results in a lot of garbage text.
Hopefully this will indeed be fixed. A workaround is to select "Download link as..." from the contextual menu and save to a location of choice on your hard drive.

Or one can wait until the download is finished and use "Save As..." to save the file (that appears as garbage text in the browser window)to disk. So far, this has been 100% reliable for me.
The number-one problem with that method (at least, to me) is that .dmg files with bad mime-types tend to more or less completely hang the browser until the transfer is complete. I really *do* like to continue browsing while things are being downloaded. :)
