Mike: Attached you'll find the specific reference regarding support for IDNs in in Netscape 7.1/Mozilla 1.4 http://devedge.netscape.com/viewsource/2003/idn/. I am not sure as to any compatibility issues between Mozilla running in Windows (which is what we have here) versus running on a Mac so I am not sure if any work was done for it to run on a Mac.
With that said, in addition to providing an overview there are also sample IDNs which you may try and if you need more just let me know. Thanks, Gary. PS. Apple Safari browser version 1.2 for Panther (OS 10.3) now supports IDNs natively! -----Original Message----- From: Mike Pinkerton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 4:19 PM To: Camino List Cc: Krall, Gary Subject: Re: [Camino] IDN Support in Camino If the work was done to make it work in Mozilla on the mac, chances are really good that it will just work out of the box in camino. How can people try it to see?
