Really, this project seems to value user feedback and makes more changes based on what its non-coding and non-paying users want than nearly any other I've seen. I'm actually impressed with the number of mockups that *have* come to something.

I'd have to admit i'm very impressed with how much feedback is considered and how many suggestions have been taken on board. It's certainly become the best Mac browser, too. But i don't recall in the time i've been hanging around that appearance elements have come
from users. Suggestions for some, yes, just not any actual graphics work.

When it comes to things like buttons, are they not essentially just images? Aren't the new images replacing old images which already have accompanying code? How much additional code is really involved in just changing their appearance if functionality remains?

I would assume it would be different with tabs, because different appearances have generally been discussed as having different functionality.

Hasn't Jasper said he isn't a coder? Yet he's contributed all these clean new graphics in today's nightly (or tonight's daily?)

Scuze me if i'm mistaken.
