Camino has no spell-checker.  Any spell-checking you are doing in
Camino (which wouldn't be much since text fields don't support spell
checking) would be with the system's built-in spell-checker, and
questions about changing that would be for a general Mac OS X list/
forum.

I believe that Camino "rolls it's own" text boxes in forms using old TextEdit (like) calls. Spell checking is standard in Safari because (I assume) it uses NSTextField objects for forms, for which the functionality is built-in. Refactoring the Camino code to use NSTextField's I'm thinking wouldn't be that easy, although Gecko probably has hooks for displaying form elements at particular parts of the page, which the Camino shell could just intercept..
