I've been running the most recently nightlies, maybe every, two or
three days, depending on how often I remember to download a newer
one. One thing I've noticed seems to exist in the last release and
these nightlies too, is that the anything using a textarea has
laggy text. I know I don't type that fast, Mail.app is keeping up
fine with me. But the text area's in Camino are _all_ slow, and
frustrating, it reminds me of terminal connections over slow
serial lines frankly. And are there any plans to integrate spell
check into text view's (also like Mail.app ;)) any time soon?
I don't know but I'm glad you brought it up because I have noticed
it too and it's really bad. Actually the reason I subscribed to
this mailing list is so I could figure out what the deal was with
that.
I'm getting similar behaviour, I'm actually wondering if it's
anything to do with animated gif's. Both Safari and Camino seem to
really hit the CPU hard when there's these types of images on screen
which makes posting to post forums troublesome. I came close to
filing a bug on it but as I was seeing similar behaviour in Safari I
wondered if it was a deeper problem.
