lookupd caches data for a long time by default. Run lookupd -configuration to see what yours is set to. I have mine at the default 12 hours and simply run lookupd -flushcache when I modify /etc/hosts. I wonder why you guys are using /etc/hosts for ad blocking when Camino supports hostperm.1, though. Hostperm.1 provides much more granular control like blocking scripts, images, and objects separately. CamiBlock <http://www.nada.de/mac/camitools/camiblock.html> is an excellent tool for populating and updating hostperm.1. _______________________________________________ Camino mailing list [email protected] http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/camino
