My /etc/hosts file stops 70% of ads in any browser I launch. Sometimes I use Camino, sometimes I use Safari. With userContent.css and /etc/hosts, the Interweb is comfortable, and if I jump into Safari, it's still very tolerable.

I stopped caring about extreme granularity about the time I stopped modding my OS's user interface.

I wonder why you guys are using /etc/hosts for ad blocking when Camino
supports hostperm.1, though. Hostperm.1 provides much more granular
control like blocking scripts, images, and objects separately.
