Dragging tabs to a new window
A tab dragged outside the current window (and not onto a different
one) should create its own new window, as done by OmniWeb. Sort of
the drag'n'drop version of the context menu entry "Move Tab to New
Window".
but that already has a quite useful function. While I don't often
create .inetloc files on my desktop, dragging into other apps I do
use commonly and wouldn't want that feature to go or get obscured
That's true. I wasn't thinking of this.
Luckily, there are modifier keys! (I really love them — you could
call them multiplier keys too.)
So how about option-dragging the tab to empty space creates a new
window with the tabs contents in it?!
