Yes, it's a great start to write a course on Caml. (I realize that the online 
version is the second edition, yet it is shorter than the paper version I have 
here. Either some chapters were removed in the 2nd edition or they are not 
available online.)

This would be most useful for teaching. I'd be ready to help such a project.
