Epoxy is higher strength and more expensive than polyester. Epiglas brand epoxy resin and hardener is considerably cheaper than West Systems brand. A quart is probably enough for what I imagine you will need to do. You can usually find epoxy resin, the appropriate hardener and fiberglass cloth at a local boat store, auto body repair resin. Check out West Systems website for information on their products, their uses, and instructions on how to work with fiberglass. The toughest part of adding additional fiberglas inside your hull will probably be sanding the existing inside surface adequately so you'll be able to assure a good bond. Be sure to heed the warnings regarding breathing the fumes. If you do the work in a well ventilated area you'll probably be okay.
