First I would like to know what kinds of project really require that many people. Then I would like to know how what they do is the same or different as what a 10-person XP team would do. For example, do they have a standup meeting with 300 people? A planning game with 300 people? Do developers specialize either technically or on particular areas of the code? If they have a team of teams, how are they split up, and how do they coordinate?
