I meant to type custome tennis racket, not "customer". -----Original Message----- From: Steven Gordon [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, November 08, 2004 10:48 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [XP] [OT] Money is Nice
If you are buying off the shelf software, there is no difference. If you are buying a customer tennis racket, you are likely going to interact directly with the producer to discuss your objectives and get fitted and then again to verify that you are satisfied. It is likely that the person building a customer tennis racket is highly paid for specialized skills. -----Original Message----- From: Phlip [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, November 08, 2004 10:40 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [XP] [OT] Money is Nice Luiz Esmiralha wrote: > Whats the difference between outsourcing software > and outsourcing > tennis production? Because the former designs your family jewels. The latter just mass-produces commodities. If you outsource the _design_ of your business, you have given the family jewels away. ===== Phlip http://industrialxp.org/community/bin/view/Main/TestFirstUserInterfaces __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
