Life *isn't* a zero-sum game, and it's hardly "dumb" to

Well, but no-one was suggesting that they do. For better or
worse, I've pretty much stayed in the same location for the
past 20 years [1].

"being paid for one's work" isn't specific to XP. I don't
see that adding it to XP will improve XPs effectiveness
or its practicioners lives.

That sounds more like common sense to me. From *both*
sides of the supply-demand balance.

[1] Same company, same house, same site - I presume we're
    not quibbling about holidays and business trips.
