Saw the Falkirk Wheel in operation yesterday afternoon, and stayed in
Falkirk last night.
We've just realized the following: we've been in the UK since the
end of April and since then, the *only* rainy, chilly weather we have
endured was during the two weeks of our two hire boats and the following
three festival days on the bank holiday weekend. Otherwise the weather
has been excellent.
So the only bad weather has been on the days devoted to narrowboating. If
I believed in such a thing, I'd think somebody was trying to tell me
something.
