Prior to taking Hannah alongside I was doing about 1600/1700 revs which is 
about normal for me on a river.
I did however have to put revs up a bit with Hannah alongside.
I dont disagree with the comment about having GPS as we could have timed our 
arrival at Richmond (provided of course we knew what time they would have 
the sluices down as opposed to needing the lock).
