Date - 4 July Day - Tuesday Start - 0930 Golf Course at Hillmorton End - Last night was much cooler and this morning quite pleasant but by 2 pm it was sweltering. We moored in the shade at the picnic tables just before Brinklow and had lunch before moving off at 2-15. There are quite a few boats about today and Diesel was 51 at Cliffton Cruisers and 52 at Newbold. We moored for the night at Hawksbury Junction just before 6 pm and just before the sky's opened with thunder and lightning.
