Capt., Any idea how rough it was? Do you know if it was wind against tide. Did the pilots not think it would be better to wait? I also can not quite understand how the water got in, because presumably the front doors were closed. Any vent could easily be blocked if it started coming in through one of these.... I wonder how familiar these pilots are with narrowboats, and just what qualifications they have. I'm not sure I'd trust them. Cheers, Mike nb.
