How to stop a cat catching wildlife..... Why not watch the paint dry...
It won't happen, just try to ignore it, don't make a fuss, hopefully she'll
get bored....
I mean what is a bat to a cat (oooh rhymes..) - just a mouse with wings!

Since we moved into a village, we have had
Mice (several), some part eaten some whole, some left in garden then bought
in by dogs (teamwork!)
Birds (various), largest was a pigeon!
Rabbits (two) - one of which Felix decided to play with under our bed, and
we were woken by the bang, bang, banging as he kept tossing it up...
A frog or two.

Bells - waste of time. Ours have bells, they soon learn how to hold their
heads to muffle bells.
Liberator - Oh, yes. it beeps when a cat jumps, so they keep jumping until
the battery is flat, or just creep up from behind.

You have to remember the first rule of cat ownership. You don't own the
cat, the cat decides to stay with you....
Only other option is to change cats (rather drastic) - I can well recommend
ragdolls, they are just *too* laid back to catch anything, Rosie has a
little try sometimes, and the birds see her coming a mile off. [The next
ragdoll we get, will of course be called Jim]. The only dead wildlife she
play with are the mice that Felix brings in (once they stop moving he soon
loses interest). Felix (a black and white of course) was born in Hardmead
lock cottage, so he's very wildlife wise...
