Yes, but where. I expect you have some form of keel and quiet likely a
far softer chine than a typical NB so youir boat may well get along
side where a NB with a 2ft draft striaght down the side will not.
A good reason for V bottomed, chined hulls, but then we
get into the bed profile they tend to maintain.
