Yes. We went on one shortly after buying a share in a narrowboat and would highly recommend it. We learnt a lot and came away feeling a lot more confident.
We went to Four Counties Boating. Chap called Douglas Nethercleft. They have a terrible website at http://members.aol.com/fcb0001/ but the course was good and he does a good line in bacon sarnies!
