Hi I dont know which caravaner you talk to But and lots of others rally almost every weekend in the summer never with electric hook up. We have just had 10 days at Hatton followed by 10 days at Wilncote(on the Stratford) Now this weekend off for 7 days at Bovington We use lights/water pump and showers all on batteries with solar back up Also TV with separate battery and solar panel Only usually have hookup when rallying in the winter months Saying that we had 5 days over xmas with out hook and will again this year I hope that clarifies your mis information about caravaners Roy
