Not a chance of that happening at high tide on the Severn
Depth of water 10m+
The rode should be at least 5 times the depth with so little chain.
3 times if all chain. The chance of your anchor biting at all is virtually 
nil, it would bounce along the bottom.
Besides which you should take up the strain and not just leave it to snatch.
