I will, because it isn't worth getting everything sorted "by the book"  
for the rare excursion and even then having no practice drill 
experience. I've been out there, I've survived and fun though it is I 
won't be going back on Uncle Mort.

I'm not sure that I'd be attempting to anchor in 10m water, as if I had 
a choice ! There is a lot of estuary with much less depth than that 
even at full tide, at least I think there is.  The problem is having 
the wherewithal to get to a bit of known depth. Don't start on about 
depth finders, not on a narrow boat. And charts and gps. Give me 
strength.
