Despite certain aspersions which have been cast I think there may be a
bug in the normally accurate AC Canal Planner around Lapworth/Hatton My
printed journey plan shows an aggregate increase from 65 locks passed
on reaching Hockley Heath and 81 on reaching Kingswood Jct. That
suggests passing 16 locks on that sector. It then shows an aggregate
103 locks on reaching Budbrooke Jct which suggests Hatton comprises 22
locks. In all 38 from Hockley to Saltisford.
We have passed through 19 locks between leaving Hockley Heath and
reaching Kingswood and 21 between Kingswood and Saltisford. A total of
40.
Go figure . . . .
