It's not usually a problem around Cropredy during the festival. Most boats
tend to arrive a few days in advance of the weekend. The main problem is
usually the morning after the event. We have been twice and normally set off
about 7.00am when nobody else was moving. With matchsticks propping open the
eyelids we have normally made it to the bottom of Napton at least before
stopping.

I have just realised that we will be passing through when "that event"
is in full swing, probably on Sat 12th.
Is it fair to assume that any boats heading for the scene will be ahead
of us and so we should not have too much delay ? I think I'll get
fairly close on Friday evening and chug through early-ish on the
Saturday.
