A protest flotilla past the Houses of Parliament is being organised
for around midday (high tide) January 16 (just after the Boat Show,
and one day after the MPs return), together with events and a suitable
crowd (complete with celebrities) on Westminster Bridge. All boaters
who can make it (by boat if possible; by land if not) are being
encouraged to do so. It looks likes boats will assemble in West India
docks, with (free, I think) lockings in and out before and after being
arranged There will probably be simultaneous events in other UK
cities for those who can't make it to London.
A sympathy protest is being organised outside the BW Annual Meeting in
Brum October 12.
