Hi Will and All,
Thanks for that. I tried nntp.dsl.pipex.com and got an unable to log on
message. Same message I have got from many servers I have tried. The ISP I
am with is now Orange and they don't support any newsgroups? I have had some
success with msnews.microsoft.com but this does not seem to carry uk.rec
waterways. Perhaps I have to put in some sort of log on information or
authentication, whatever that is?
