Hi Andrew
You're not going to be able to use the newserver of another ISP - you
would need to be connected via that ISP to use it. What you need is an
independent newserver, either of the free or paid-for variety.
I use news.gazeta.pl as my 'reserve' newserver, but I can't remember now how
I set it up and the site appears to be all in Polish. (If your Polish is up
to it, go to www.gazeta.pl and sign up).
Easier perhaps to use the German, news.datemas.de Send your email address
and a password of your choosing to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Register
news.datemas.de in the Subject line. If you then set up a news account ar
datemas in your reader, you will find that you will be able to use it in
about 12 hours, possibly befire you get the confirming email from them.
