What are you doing to > gee your MP up? I will follow your lead on that. I have been in correspondence with my own (Tory) MP who is a Vice-President of the local canal society. She is very sympathetic to the cause and has written to Barry Gardiner. Regarding the EDM she wrote: *I regret I am unable to sign this EDM as this is not an all-party EDM. The names of Members representing all parties in the House of Commons should be included in the top six signatories of an EDM if it is to attract maximum support. Unfortunately this is not the case in this instance* I am a little confused by that statement as her husband, who is the Tory MP for the adjoining constituency, has signed EDM 2757.
