Hi Martin, Using the speed settings I used to get to Braunston for the Jam Ole Run, Canal Planner says it's possible in 3.5 days at 13 hours a day. I managed to beat the times in the heavily locked London end saving an hour with a novice crew, but only had a single boat. This was in october, so a little warmer than it is currently, but we started in the dark, and finished in the dark! You need to do proper lock wheeling as well, otherwise it will be four days! If you really want to beat our pace - have a look at the times on: http://shoestring.zapto.org/pics/JamOleRun2006/index_3.html and we were following a load of 'slow' trad boats as well! I would come and give you a hand, but I'm going on the boat show cruise to Royal Docks, so will be unfortunatly busy. Hope to see you down here, Mike -- Michael Askin http://shoestring.zapto.org/
