Before I wish everyone all the very best for 2007, a little bit of
admin prompted by the mailings from the festival organisers which will
have dropped onto many doormats recently.

I am proposing to co-ordinate a "cutweb" block booking for Saul
Festival so anyone interested please download your forms from
http://www.junctionevents.org.uk/

and contact me off-list for my address.

MEMO - dates are 29/30 June and 1 July 2007

The price by the way is £20 per boat + £10 per adult for a weekend site
wristband. This "EXCLUDES" the evening concerts in the Music Pavilion
although the Drum & Monkey Alehouse and Food Street are accessible with
the basic wristband, as well as The Sabrina Theatre.

What is required is your completed booking form and appropriate cheque
payable to

CCT (Trading) Ltd

I think there is no benefit from including camping visitors in the
block booking as I believe the pitches are allocated on the basis of
time of arrival. So it's worth co-ordinating arrival of campers at the
site if you want to establish a Cutweb under Canvas enclave.

I will forward the single batch of "mooring bookings" with the
anticipated result that we will be given adjacent moorings. I will be
seeking a location a shortish distance from the main event, but with an
adequate amount of grass for the essential gazebos and sundry erections
that so often pop up at these events.

I have put a note in my diary to complete this process over the weekend
27th & 28th January.

And finally, just before I wish everyone a wonderful hogmanay
celebration, I should also remind folk of the "Roving Rally" down the
Severn and G&S in the run up to the Saul Festival. The plans for this
are evolving and so far 9 boats and 3 camping crews have expressed
interest. The approximate schedule is as follows, it will be informal,
free of charge and folk can join in for all or part of the programme.

Mon 25th June - Stourport supper
Tues 26th - Pub stop somewhere between Tewkesbury and Gloucester
Weds 27th - Gloucester Docks
Thurs 28th - Slimbridge or Sharpness followed by Towpath BBQ
Friday / Saturday / Sunday - Festival

and also, the following weekend - 6/7/8 July, there is likely to be a
second expedition to Lydney Docks to join the Lydney Yacht Club event.

Cheers
