So if folks reporting non-displayers just causes you delay when you're already onto the actual evaders, would it be better if the requirement to display a licence were dispensed with completely? There doesn't seem much purpose in keeping something that doesn't help you, winds up other boaters needlessly, and can create unnecessary work for a strapped-for-cash BW. Or is it still useful eg in helping your enforcers to spot potential unlicensed craft as soon as they arrive in their area? We are constantly improving,=20 > we will find you, catch you and we will recover the money or remove the=20 > boat, it just takes a little time ... but we're getting faster. I'll be interested to see how the evasion figure from the 2006 boat count compares to the 2005 one. Martin L
