As a former office worker, I am a bit miffed at the way discussion on this thread seems to imply that office staff are more dispensible than ground staff. OK, the ground staff are very important and I do not for one moment suggest that any of them should be made redundant in preference to an office worker, but I am sure that BW do not employ people just to sit on chairs in their offices. Surely the office staff who are being made redundant are (or were) doing valuable work too? Dorothy
