George, I dunno if you count this as a multi-base hirer, but Kate Boats has a second base on the south side of the canal, just to the east of Birdingbury Bridge #21 [I think the road is the A426]. The map shows a sort of hook-shaped road on the south side, just before you get to the bridge. The base is at the end of that road.
I dunno if it matters, but there is an acceptable [to me] pub called The Boat right at the south end of the bridge.
