security. Do you know for sure that this .exe doesn't silently 
install a keylogger on the machine, or turn it into part of a botnet 
responsible for the torrent of spam we all have to suffer? Because 
that's how these things propagate.

Hopefully you'll be more wary in future of downloading such things.

I cannot believe the patronising, if well-meaning above.Please do not offer any 
more advice--I can do without it!
