You must be careful suggesting these sort of splits, even tongue in cheek. Not so very long ago a group of people criticised for too many off-topic postings did indeed form another group. Many of these people now don't bother posting here, which is a great shame IMO since they have an immense amount to offer both in terms of their general, and their waterways knowledge. In other words, this group is the poorer for their absence. If I were you, and you've had enough of stuff about smoking, well.... simply delete stuff about smoking. I can't see the problem.
