I am not a smoker but I have enjoyed the discussion on smoking. I know it's not about canal boating but the mailing list should be like a group of friends sitting around in a pub discussing topics of interest - mainly about canals. Now,............ we could discuss what type of PUB it should be.... ROFLMHO

And I don't agree with Steve - there are very few people active on the list he's talking about (if he and I are talking about the same one, which I think we are) who don't post to at least one of (a) this list (b) the Cutweb list or (c) uk.rec.waterways.
