Certainly seems there is something not right about the wiring in the
house. 

Maybe you could buy a simple tool to remake connects - and then one by
one remove the wires from different sockets to find the faulty one.

As has been suggested, maybe a wireless router ( with security
settings in place ! ) at the master socket.
