It has two outlets, broadband and phone, with krone connectors on the back for phone extension wiring. According to the BT installers, filters are not needed on the phones, (and they didn't supply them) although the filter in the faceplate isn't 100%, as we had to fit a filter on the fax machine. Research indicates that what we have is an NTE5 with ADSL faceplate. All this correspondence has prompted a bit of research and possible experimentation, though. We are, according to BT, about 2.5 km from the exchange equipment, and marginal for ADSL. Speed at the moment is only about half a megabyte, measured on http://resources.zdnet.co.uk/speedtest/ . -- Iain
