No, and that was the point. LT's stern was being forced back by the flow, 
LT's bow was pointing way from the flow towards the bank, about 45 degrees 
ish. The boat was actually being helped by the water flow. Had LT's bow got 
anywhere near the flow she would have been whipped round, ropes snapped and 
gone. That is why we spent so much time and effort very carefully dropping 
her down keeping the angle the same. Even when the river had dropped several 
feet, the flow would still have been too great. It is very difficult to 
explain just how bad things were, you had to be here. Environment agency 
have been here today, and even they can't believe the power of the water. 
Officially the height has now been put at 5.51meters, almost 18 feet above 
normal levels.
